Services

I will meet with you for a 30-minute conversation to discuss your concerns, answer your questions, and determine whether Shomer Education Advocacy is the right fit for your family.

I will review your child's educational history, current services, evaluations, school records, and your concerns. Together, we'll identify priorities and develop practical next steps tailored to your child's needs.

I will conduct a comprehensive review of your child's educational records, including evaluations, IEPs, Section 504 Plans, eligibility documents, progress reports, report cards, disciplinary records, and correspondence. You will receive my professional observations, identification of potential concerns, and recommendations to help guide your next steps.

I will help you prepare for school meetings so you can walk in feeling confident. Together, we'll develop your agenda, organize supporting documents, identify key questions, anticipate potential recommendations, and create a strategy before you walk through the door.

I will attend school meetings alongside you to provide guidance, clarify information, ask questions, ensure your concerns are addressed, encourage meaningful parent participation, and keep discussions focused on your child.

Advocacy support is available during IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, Section 504 meetings, manifestation determination reviews, behavior intervention plan (BIP) meetings, resolution sessions, and disciplinary meetings.

I will prepare letters, emails, and advocacy documents, including requests for evaluations, IEP meetings, educational records, accommodations, procedural safeguards, and parent concerns.

Each document is carefully tailored to your child's unique needs and circumstances. Your  concerns are clearly communicated and the educational record is preserved.

I will help you identify potential violations of IDEA, Section 504, and applicable state regulations, organize supporting evidence, and prepare a comprehensive state complaint. I will also provide guidance and support as questions, requests, and new developments arise throughout the complaint process.
